Welcome to the King of Spring Lacrosse Classic. The KOS Classic is a unique event that matches high school varsity teams from across the country in fast-paced, high-action contests at some of the best venues in North Carolina. We are entering our 8th year of existence and we are excited to be hosting 34 boys and girls programs hailing from 8 different states and Canada.
The King of the Spring has emerged as a one-of-a-kind event in the high school lacrosse community and has quickly become an annual destination for some of the best programs in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast We have reigning state champions from the states of North Carolina, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee along with the 2016 MIAA champion in this years field.
The 2017 Brine King of Spring Lacrosse Classic will take place between Thursday, March 9, 2017 and Tuesday, March 15, 2017. Games will take place in one 5 different locations around the Triangle region of North Carolina. In addition to the 34 high school boys and girls teams that will compete, the event will spotlight the Duke University vs Loyola University on Saturday, March 11, at noon; the defending NCAA DI champion University of North Carolina men will face Hofstra University on March 11 at 2:30 p.m.; and the defending NCAA DI champion, University of North Carolina women will take on the University of Virginia on March 11 at noon.
